Student Scholarships for Building Industry Careers
Scholarships are offered to young men and women pursuing building industry careers by the Builders Association Kosciusko Fulton Counties (BAKFC) Women’s Council each year; encouraging students to strive for achievement of their career goals while helping them gain the education necessary to achieve these goals and develop more professional roles in the building industry.
ELIGIBILITY
Candidates of scholarship funds shall be a graduate of Warsaw Community Schools, Wawasee Community School Corporation, Whitko Community School Corporation, Tippecanoe School Corporation, Rochester High School, or Lakeland Christian Academy.
HOW FUNDS CAN BE USED
BAKFCWC will fund to the college or trade school these funds to lessen the expense of students who are accepted in an accredited college or trade school in the United States. Funds must be used for courses related to the building trades (i.e. Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, Construction Trades, etc.).
AWARDS
BAKFCWC offers scholarships with the following awards as a guideline:
- Up to two (2) Scholarships @ $500.00 each for the year 2018

HOW TO APPLY
Candidates should submit an application by completing the questions on the attached pages and forwarding it, along with educational transcripts and one recommendation from a counselor, teacher or employer to the name and address shown below and postmarked no later than Monday, May 21, 2018. This year’s scholarship awards will be presented at a Builders Association Kosciusko Fulton Counties General Membership Meeting on July 24th.
