Learn About Us
The Builders Association Kosciusko Fulton Counties Inc.
Mission: The Builders Association Kosciusko Fulton Counties Inc. (BAKFC) serves, advances and protects the welfare of the building industry through customer quality assurance, education of our members, and contributions to the community. We will continue to be a viable, indispensable, visible community asset with strong political participation on issues affecting our industry.
The BAKFC is a membership organization comprised of Builder and Associate members. We strive to keep our members informed on issues affecting the building industry, including governmental regulations, housing needs, housing trends, and other relevant issues. Promotion of housing, Builder and Associate Member products and services is achieved through sponsoring parades, shows, and events.
With the generous support of BAKFC members and community sponsors, our major philanthropic project, Coats for Kids, provides new winter coats, hats and gloves to local elementary school children in need each year. Our annual Coats for Kids Community Outreach Golf Outing raises the necessary funds.
Our major events each year include the Home & Garden Show, our Coats for Kids Community Outreach Golf Outing, and Homes on Parade. In 2017, BAKFC builder John Kidd (R.W. Kidd Construction) and a combination of over 100 BAKFC members, non-member businesses, corporate and individual donors and community volunteers joined ranks with nationally recognized not for profit Operation FINALLY HOME to build a 100% mortgage-free home for US Army SSG Justin Raymer and family. See BAKFC Events for more information on our special projects and events.
There are many people who contribute to BAKFC from the staff, to board members, and committee members. Thank you for your help.
